Denmark WiMAX coverage

ORZA has access to around 800 antenna locations in Denmark, which will cover the country and provide super broadband nternet access, 2 telephone lines with free local calls and IPTV with High Definition quality for DKK 398,- a month.

DID YOU KNOW THAT...

... you can take your SuperOrza V box, your broadband connection and your 2 phone lines, with you to your summerhouse? If you temporarily move out of your coverage area to another, you can notify us about it, and you can be transferred from one area to another. Once you move back, you do the same. This procedure does not cost anything and you can carry out the changes yourself with your personal log in on ;ORZA portal. The moving of service off course requires that ;ORZA is already covering your summerhouse area. Soon you will be able to check coverage areas with your postal code.

ORZA WiMAX antennas open in Denmark

In April-May the number of households with their own ;ORZA connection will grow to 1.000.
Finally the first WiMAX antenna locations are on the map. You can now see a coverage map for Denmark with current antenna locations. To start with ;ORZA opened 2 base stations in Denmark. During 2006 we will gradually cover the whole country. In the coming 4 weeks the number of boxes will be around 100. In April-May the number of households with their own ;ORZA connection will grow to 1000. The production number will rise gradually, following the demand. During this summer the production is planned to be around 5000 boxes weekly. Once you have ordered the service, you will automatically receive a contract from ORZA NETWORKS A/S as soon as a box is ready for you. Thousands of Danes have already ordered and we will be handling the contracts in the order they came in, so everybody gets a fair treatment. Many have already contacted us and have shown their disappointment that we have not opened in their town as promised. Our 2 current antennas are merely the beginning. We will gradually
add antennas all over Denmark.

Antenna capacity

Despite the long reach, which typically is over 30 km radius from
each antenna, the technology is designed that the transmission
effect for both senders and receivers is the minimum possible
and is lot less then mobile phones. Therefore no one needs to
be nervous about frying his or her brain, or about living close to
an antenna.
The SuperOrza V box has an integrated WiMAX antenna. In an
unlikely situation where one lives in a basement, has lead
covered walls or has a summerhouse in the middle of woods,
then the antenna can be clipped off the front of the box and
placed outside of the house and connected to the box with an
extra cable.
